Daadras concluded September 2020 having collected Rs 61,100, a strong result, though nearly Rs 19,000 short of the ambitious Rs 80,000 target set at the start of the month.
The funds were deployed across multiple areas of need: ration distributions, direct financial assistance to individuals, and self-sustainability support. In a notable addition this month, Daadras also began collecting clothing and blankets in preparation for the approaching winter, ensuring that the families it serves are protected from the cold as temperatures drop.
In one particularly meaningful act, the organisation provided a school uniform to a young girl, a small but significant gesture toward keeping a child in education.
As September closed, Daadras set its sights on a fresh Rs 80,000 target for October, with a sharper focus on keeping vulnerable families warm through the season.
