What is Salam?

"Salam" means "Peace" in Arabic

Education brings peace to communities by empowering children with knowledge, skills, and confidence to build a brighter future.

Salam is a comprehensive 10-hour-per-week program delivered across 3–4 months in partnership with orphanages and underprivileged schools. We provide access to essential 21st-century skills through technology literacy, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence, creating lasting positive change in communities.

Program Overview

Unlike traditional education systems, Salam uniquely combines technology literacy, strategic thinking, and emotional intelligence in a single integrated curriculum. Our three-pillar approach ensures children develop not just academic skills, but the confidence and critical thinking abilities needed to thrive in the modern world.

Information Technology

Students learn computer basics, internet navigation, digital safety, and introductory programming concepts. We provide hands-on experience with modern technology tools, preparing them for the digital world while bridging the technology gap in underserved communities.

Strategic Gaming

Through chess, students develop critical thinking, pattern recognition, and strategic planning skills. The game teaches patience, concentration, and decision-making while providing a fun, engaging way to enhance cognitive abilities and build confidence through mastery of complex strategies.

Social-Emotional Learning

Our SEL curriculum focuses on emotional regulation, empathy, conflict resolution, and self-awareness. Students learn mindfulness techniques, develop healthy relationships, and build resilience through interactive activities that promote mental well-being and social skills essential for life success.

Our Strategy

Our approach combines comprehensive assessment, tailored curriculum design, and self-learning promotion to create sustainable educational impact.

Assessment & Tailoring

We conduct comprehensive tests to understand each school's unique needs, available resources, and student capabilities.

  • Initial assessment of student skill levels and learning styles
  • Evaluation of available time slots and resource constraints
  • Custom curriculum design based on specific school requirements
Self-Learning Promotion

Our curriculum is specifically designed to foster independent learning and critical thinking skills.

  • Interactive activities that encourage exploration and discovery
  • Problem-solving exercises that build analytical thinking
  • Peer-to-peer learning opportunities and mentorship programs

Our Journey: From 21 to 111+ Students
