Ramadan Drive Closes at Rs 175,000, Target More Than Doubled

The Daadras Foundation closed its Ramadan 2023 fundraising drive on April 5 having collected Rs 175,000, more than doubling its original target of Rs 75,000 and far exceeding the extended goal set mid-campaign.

The result stands as one of Daadras's strongest single-drive fundraising outcomes to date, reflecting both the generosity of the donor community and the deep sense of responsibility many feel during Ramadan to give to those in need.

Funds were used across three areas: ration packages for low-income families, direct cash assistance to households with specific needs, and contributions to community Iftar initiatives in partnership with other organisations.

Daadras expressed heartfelt gratitude to every donor, sharer, and volunteer who made the campaign possible. The organisation noted that the month reaffirmed its belief that collective giving, even in difficult economic times, can make a profound and measurable difference.
