Daadras and Spreading Smiles Host Iftar Drive for 450 Individuals

On April 9, 2023, the Daadras Foundation partnered with the Spreading Smiles Foundation to host a joint Iftar drive, providing nourishing meals to over 450 individuals observing the Ramadan fast.

The collaboration brought together two community-driven organisations around a shared purpose: ensuring that those fasting during the holy month had access to wholesome food to break their fast with dignity. The drive distributed meals that included dates, fruits, and other essential food items, staples of the Iftar tradition.

Beyond the food itself, the event fostered a sense of community and solidarity among participants, many of whom were experiencing significant financial hardship amid Pakistan's ongoing economic difficulties.

Daadras described the partnership as a model for how NGOs can amplify their impact by working together. The organisation thanked Spreading Smiles and all volunteers and donors who turned the drive into one of the most impactful single-day efforts of the year.
