Daadras Rallies Support for Aspiring Medical Student

The Daadras Foundation began 2023 with an urgent call for support, this time for a young woman whose dream of becoming a doctor was within reach, but just short of being fully funded.

Her brother had taken it upon himself to finance her MBBS degree, managing to arrange Rs 300,000 through sheer determination. However, her fees came to Rs 425,000, leaving a shortfall of Rs 125,000. Without this remaining amount, her admission and future in medicine were at risk.

Daadras appealed to its donor community to step in and bridge the gap. The case reflected a pattern the organisation sees repeatedly: families with the will to invest in education, but not quite enough means to see it through.

Daadras invited donors to contribute and help turn one family's determination into a qualified doctor serving Pakistan.
