Pakistan is facing one of its worst humanitarian disasters in recent memory. The 2022 monsoon season has brought catastrophic rainfall across all four provinces, resulting in floods and landslides that have affected more than 33 million people. According to the National Disaster Management Authority, nearly 950,000 homes have been damaged, around 287,000 of them completely destroyed.

The human toll is severe: more than 1,000 lives have been lost since mid-June. Sindh and Balochistan have been identified as the most critically affected provinces. Over 700,000 livestock have been killed nationwide, and widespread damage to roads and bridges is severely hampering access to affected communities.

In response, the Daadras Foundation has activated its relief operations and is calling on donors to contribute urgently. Every donation will go directly toward reaching the families who need it most.
