Daadras Launches Clothing and Book Donation Drives

On August 23, 2020, the Daadras Foundation expanded its outreach by simultaneously launching two new donation drives: one for clothing and one for books.

The clothing drive was initiated to address the immediate needs of families living in extreme poverty. In its first act under this campaign, Daadras reached a family in Sharaqpur, a widow and her seven children, and provided them with clothing suited to their individual needs.

The book drive was launched in collaboration with local community members in Balochistan who have established one-room libraries across the province. These grassroots libraries serve as vital educational resources for young people in an area with significant literacy challenges. Daadras called on donors to contribute books and help expand access to reading for Balochistan's youth.

Both drives reflect Daadras's growing belief that sustainable change requires addressing needs beyond food alone.
