Daadras reached its August target of Rs 45,000, closing the month with one of its most diverse and impactful distributions to date.
Funds were used to distribute ration packages to families in need, as well as sewing machines, a step toward providing long-term self-sustainability rather than short-term relief alone. The inclusion of livelihood tools marked a shift in Daadras's approach, recognising that true support means helping families build the capacity to support themselves.
The month also saw the first round of book collection for one-room libraries in Balochistan, and a successful clothing drive for a local orphanage.
Daadras thanked its donors for the exceptional response and announced an ambitious new goal of Rs 80,000 for September, nearly double the August target, reflecting the organisation's growing reach and the ever-present demand from deserving households.
