Yasmeen's Family Receives Full Month of Rations

On September 7, 2023, Daadras issued an urgent appeal for Yasmeen, who is battling a serious illness while supporting a family of ten in Lahore. She earns about Rs 8,000 a month as a domestic helper, less than the family's Rs 10,000 monthly rent. Her husband is bedridden, and the couple's eight children were struggling to eat twice a day.

Within four days, donors had funded a full month of rations for the family, including 20 kg of flour, 5 kg of cooking oil, 4 kg of rice, lentils, eggs, tea, sugar, washing soap, and bread.

Daadras thanked everyone who responded and acknowledged that a month of rations, while meaningful, is only the beginning of what the family needs.
