Jannat Attends Her First Day of School

On November 10, 2023, Daadras launched an appeal for five-year-old Jannat, a bright young girl from the outskirts of Lahore. Her father had sold his motorbike to pay for her schooling, but with her mother unwell and the family in debt, they could no longer afford her uniform, books, and enrolment fees.

Donors responded within days. On November 22, Daadras shared a photograph of Jannat on her very first day of school, beaming with the kind of smile that makes every donation feel worthwhile.

Daadras thanked every donor and sharer who made the moment possible, and pledged to keep telling stories like hers.
