The clothing drive Daadras launched in August 2020 reached its first beneficiaries in September. On September 2, the first bundle of donated clothes was dispatched to a local orphanage, and on September 9 the Daadras team visited the Jannat-ul-Firdos orphanage to deliver a further batch collected during the August and September drives.

Approximately 60 children live at Jannat-ul-Firdos, and they received the team with warmth and joy. Despite their circumstances, the children displayed remarkable talent, resilience, and hope for their futures, leaving a lasting impression on the Daadras team.

Both deliveries were the result of weeks of community effort: donors who gave garments of all sizes, volunteers who collected and sorted them, and team members who ensured they reached the right hands.

Daadras thanked everyone who contributed and pledged to continue supporting the children of Jannat-ul-Firdos. With winter approaching, it encouraged the public to keep donating clothes through its social media channels and donation points across the city.
